War Thunder radar: overlay, browser window or a second screen?

The radar list mentions overlay, standalone and browser views. Does anyone have a sensible way to decide between them?

I have a second screen but I also do not want to keep looking away at the worst time.

That is preference. A separate screen gives you space, while an overlay keeps everything in one place.

Makes sense. I will test a basic overlay layout first.

Keep the range modest at first. More markers does not automatically mean more useful information.
